Chapter III: Can You Stand the Rain?

Chapter III: Can You Stand the Rain?

Not every day feels like sunshine.

Even in a season of becoming, even while you’re growing, there will still be days that feel a little heavier than others.

Moments where your energy dips. Where your thoughts go somewhere quieter. Where the sky you woke up under just isn’t the one you were hoping for.

And the old version of you?

Might have taken one look at those clouds and gone back inside. Pulled the curtains. Waited for the forecast to change before stepping out again.

But this version of you is learning something new.

That the rain doesn’t erase what you’ve already grown. That a grey sky doesn’t mean you’ve lost your way. And that you don’t have to disappear just because the weather shifted.

Sunny days… everybody loves them.

But this version of you? She’s learning how to stand in the rain.

How to show up when it’s not pretty. When it’s not easy. When there’s no golden light to make it feel cinematic.

Because that’s where she’s being built.

Not on the perfect days… but on the ones where she showed up anyway.

A little damp.

A little tired.

But still here.

Still moving.

Still growing.

Still becoming.

So when the rain comes — and it will come —you don’t have to run from it.

You can stand in it. Move through it. Let it touch you… and keep going anyway.

Because this season was never about waiting for perfect weather.

It was always about becoming the version of you who already knows… she can stand the rain.

With love,
Maig
