Chapter 4: Grace
Choosing Peace, Even When It Hurts
There’s a quiet grief that comes with realizing that distance can bring peace.
I didn’t expect the stillness to feel so layered — relief paired with sadness, clarity paired with loss. But this season has taught me something I can’t ignore:
Peace matters.
Even when separation hurts.
Even when it’s not what we hoped for.
Even when love still exists.
I’m learning to respect the peace of others, just as I’m learning to protect my own. Not every connection is meant to remain close forever — and that doesn’t mean it lacked meaning.
Choosing peace doesn’t mean love failed.
Sometimes it means love is changing shape.
If you’re navigating the ache of letting go while honoring what’s healthiest, you’re not alone.
Peace isn’t avoidance.
It’s alignment.
Still learning. Still loving. Choosing peace.
With love, always.
