Chapter 1: Intentions

Chapter 1: Intentions

Choosing Love, Intentionally

Lately, I’ve been sitting with the truth that loving harder doesn’t always mean loving better.

For a long time, I believed depth meant intensity — that if I felt more, explained more, or held tighter, love would finally feel secure. But I’m learning that love isn’t meant to exhaust us.

This season has asked me to slow down and become more aware — not just of how deeply I feel, but of how my feelings land on others.

Choosing love intentionally means noticing when my emotions begin to overflow — and taking responsibility for how I carry them, instead of asking someone else to hold the weight.

I’m learning that love can be steady.

That it can be gentle.

That it doesn’t have to feel heavy to be real.

If you’re also learning how to love with more awareness — with more care for yourself and the people around you — you’re not behind.

You’re becoming.

And that matters.

Still learning. Still loving. Choosing peace.

With love, always.
